I am not a scuba diver at all – even though I loved swimming. So I wasn’t sure
how to approach this. But it turned out to be a beautiful book that I loved and
flew right through.
Is it fate
that we meet the right one? How do we know? And when we die, is it over?A Cry From The Deep – a story of a love so powerful it spans

to fulfill a promise of love made centuries before. As she begins to unravel
the mystery of the woman who haunts her dreams, she has to come to grips with
her own struggle to find true love. Will it be her ex, psychiatrist Richard
Egan, who still loves her, or Daniel Costello, the handsome but unavailable
marine archaeologist on the dive team?

descriptions, characters and romance. I have never been to Ireland but from the
beautiful description of setting I feel as if I have been! It also dug into
history quite a bit with a mystery from the past waiting to be solved, and the
Claddagh ring. On top of that, there is a mention of reincarnation and psychic
happenings. I recently read a book called The Bridge Of Deaths, and I couldn’t
like it as much because of that theme running through the book. However, I
thought it worked well for this story and wasn’t overdone at all, which made me
able to sail through it.

in history and mystery, and loves to admire the beauty in life. Yes, she is
torn between choosing the guy she wants, who happens to already be taken, or
returning to her ex-husband. As well as trying to solve a mystery, catch a
criminal and take great underwater photos, she is also busy chasing after her
heart. I loved her loyalty and determination. Occasionally her mind would leap
to erotic thoughts out of nowhere, which I found a bit out of character, but
otherwise she was brilliant!

Diana Stevan took many detours to get to the writing phase of her life.
After marrying at 19, she received a Bachelor of Science in Home
Economics and a Master of Social Work, both with honors, from the
University of Manitoba. She moved to B.C. in 1979 with her husband and two children. As a clinical social worker, Diana spent over twenty-five years in the field, working in a variety of settings—psychiatric, child guidance, cancer agency, and private practice.
She’s also worked as a teacher, professional model, actress and a
sports writer-broadcaster for CBC television. Writing has been her passion, even though it was relegated to the back seat while her children were young. She’s published fitness and travel articles for newspapers, poetry in the U.K. journal DREAMCATCHER and a short story in ESCAPE, an anthology published by Peregrin.
Diana has traveled widely and uses her experience to color her stories.
A CRY FROM THE DEEP is her debut novel. She now lives with her
husband on Vancouver Island, in beautiful British Columbia. You can
