The Snapped Series (Mini Reviews & Giveaway!)
Title: Snapped Series
Author: Ketley Allison
Published Date: 1st November 2014
serial contains feelings after sex, good girls staying good (unless they don’t
want to), good boys turning bad, great friends flipping sides, close lovers
falling backwards, sassy mouths, stubborn jackasses, and a fight for the one,
all in the name of tortured love.
But whose love is twisted?
In nine weeks Charlie Miller’s life goes from high-rolling perfection to a
crypt of sin. All it takes is one night, one blade, and her boyfriend, best
friend and new friends all either end up as suspects or dead.
In Part 1, Charlie makes the move to the big city with her first love and her
best friend, and life couldn’t be better–all her best plans have come to
fruition. Yet, perfection only exists for those on the outside looking in. They
don’t know what’s going on in Charlie’s inner circle. Bit by unexpected bit,
Charlie’s dreams will spiral up and turn to smoke.
Nate Westcott, a pierced, tattooed, charismatic lawyer, is a man she can’t
have—but a seductive danger she can’t ignore. He’s cocky, infuriating,
brilliant and wrong, yet he makes her question whether she really is the good
girl she wants to be or more like the selfish killer everyone thinks she is.
And her body wants him in ways she’s not supposed to crave.
As the series progresses and the weeks close in, cracks form in her everyday
world of pro football golden boys, law school domination and New York City
nightlife. Everyone she cares about is at risk because one of them doesn’t love
Charlie back. In fact, they want her out of the way. Disposed of. Set up.
Week 1 starts now.
WHO WILL SNAP?
was a serial of seven books, so I will be doing mini reviews for each and every
one! These are quick reads, at about 100 pages each. The first one sucked me in
with an intriguing prologue where we didn’t know who had committed a crime, and
whether it was the main character who did it! We were then thrown backwards to
the beginning of the story.
Mostly, Charlie, our main character. I felt like I would be most like her,
shying away from the limelight and struggling to cope with it. Laura was louder
but generally a supportive friend although I think there might be more to
Raegan than we know. Slade is such a good boyfriend as well ^.^
eventful happening, but the writing style has me hooked. Love the law school
and football themes, and even though the ending is abrupt, it is a serial. 4 stars.
books continue to be as addicting as ever! Flew through this one. I think
having Charlie questioning everything does raise the suspense but sometimes it
gets to be annoying. I also really don’t trust Raegan anymore; I think she’s
too secretive. Romance is still as hot as ever and slightly explicit. And the
ending had me laughing – it makes a nice set up for the next one. I just wish
that the murder section would come in because it was in the prologue. When will
that happen? 4 stars.
IT. Finally things are heating up! There was a lot less about law school but a
lot more betrayal weaving in and out of this book. The ending of it has me
curious as to what could possibly happen next in the series! Things are heating
up and the characters and drama has me in love. I want more now! 5 stars.
This book had action, drama and a lot of lies and deceit. If I thought this
series was good at the beginning I can definitely tell you things are sizzling
hot right now. I really want to know if the initial couples will be able to
prevail through all of this. This series should really be a television show.
And now we even have a villain in a way. How on earth will this series end? Oh,
and now the murder mystery comes into play now as well… I am definitely team
Slade right now. 5 stars.
murder mystery has really come through now, and it’s all the book is about!
Which makes me happy. Even I have
absolutely no clue who has done it, so this is suspenseful. Everyone is
accusing each other… And there is so much grief, even if no one really liked
the victim in the first place. Also, Lou – Charlie’s lawyer. I love her, SO
much. She’s got attitude. Although I loved it the amount of grief in here is a
bit too much. 4 stars.
reveals all! Oh man, this is a lot of new information. I couldn’t understand
why everyone was being so mopey at the beginning (well, someone died so they
have a reason to, but still. Overly mopey.) And now that I think about it, the
titles for each of these books are genius. Ketley Allison gets me to feel
exactly what she wants me to feel. So much betrayal here, and the most explicit
scene in the book yet – although it was very steamy to read I still kind of
liked it. Can I change my team to Team Nate? Yes, please. 4 stars.

pages could never make me feel like this before. I can’t handle the suspense!
Never felt this stressed out about a book before. I can’t even begin to think
of who might’ve done it. At the end of this story I sat there mindblown from
the intensity and the ending. I cried. Twice. And I never really cry at a book.
Once from sheer frustration about the crime and who might’ve done, and once
because of a happy moment. Really, Ketley Allison, why you do this to us
series: Might start easy on you but the suspense and the intensity will get
to you. It made me cry and is worth everyone’s time if you are for crimes and
young adult fiction. They combine perfectly here! As for the synopsis who will
snap – it’s easy. I DID!
