My Travels ~ London
|I guess you can see where the photo of me in the meme banner I made comes from now 😀|
As always, when it comes to the London Eye, there are plenty of people selling handmade items, doing cool tricks and so on around. We passed by a man dressed as a Storm trooper, a man doing bike tricks on a small bicycle, and also someone selling these incredibly detailed water colour paints. But by far the most impressive were these lovely big bubbles. It was such a nice atmosphere around it, and watching the little kids (I have a soft space for little kids) running around and hurling themselves into bubbles as if they could get sucked into them was so sweet.
On my first night there we went to Vapiano’s for dinner. I’ve been to the one in the Netherlands as well, but it was nice to be there with my sister. I tried a new pasta dish and it was delicious. Oh, and of course, as usual when going to England, there was a meal in Nandos with my cousin. It’s pretty much my favourite place to eat – and why it is only in England I have no idea. It would be successful worldwide, if you ask me!
One of the days we went to Camden Market. I’d never been – and trust me, that place is bustling. There are all sorts of things sold, but I didn’t have much English money left to spend at this point. It was a shame, but I loved looking at all the different items. We did treat ourselves to some delicious street food and fresh mango smoothies from a stall though!
All in all, a very good trip! Even though London is busy and crazy sometimes, it can be beautiful and peaceful. I had a brilliant time exploring with my sister, and can’t wait to go back. I was sad that we didn’t get the chance to go visit home in the Christmas holiday, but here’s to the next one 🙂

Olivia’s Question: Have you ever been to London or would like to go? What was your favourite tourist site there?
